We are at a crossroads in Ireland with regard to teacher-artist partnerships. This joint governmental approach to these partnerships represents a crucial move towards a cohesive arts education strategy for schools. This report is timely in highlighting the need for the development of nationwide partnerships that are long-term,sustainable,and well-supported. The report also advocates the need to embed teacher-artist partnerships within the developmental approach to arts education outlined in the primary school curriculum. It is moreover, heartening to see such initiatives being research - led and informed so as to guide policy and practice.en_US
